Dr. Isha Garg
Dr. Isha Garg is a Professor of Pathology at St. John's Medical College, Bangalore, with over 26 years of medical and medical teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Besides her interest in Anatomic Pathology, Dr.Isha has always had a keen interest in the application of ICT, more particularly the use of mobile devices, in the practice of medicine and in public health.
Isha obtained both her undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) and her post-graduate specialization in Pathology (MD Pathology) from the Christian Medical College [CMC], Vellore, India. CMC, besides being a leading medical research and teaching institution in India, is also is a WHO collaborating centre for Family and Community Health in India.
Isha Garg took a one-year sabbatical during 2006-07 at Stanford University where she was a Fellow in the Reuters Digital Vision Program, working on a project in Disease Surveillance. She has earlier also had short stints as a Visiting Observer in Pathology at Emory University School of Medicine and at Stanford University School of Medicine.
