Dr. D. Krishna Sundar

Dr. D. Krishna Sundar, a PhD in the area of " Decision Support Systems for Operations Management with specific reference to Integrated Logistics Management " is a Professor at Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a consultant to many manufacturing and IT companies, both in India and abroad, in the areas of E-Business Management,ERP Implementation, Operations Management and Logistics Management.

Dr. Sundar graduated as a mechanical engineer has a masters degree in Industrial Engineering and Management with majors in IT and OR and Doctoral degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

He taught masters and doctoral level courses in the areas of Electronic Business Management, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Logistics Management, Decision Modeling, Quantitative Methods, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Computer-based Materials Management.

As part of executive education, he designed and conducted programmes of short and long duration for both private and public sector organisations. He also designed and developed software for various organizations. He is a SAP AG partner academy trained SAP R/3-PP consultant. As part of funded research projects, Dr. Sundar is handling research projects in the areas of E-Business: Consulting Opportunities in Service Sector", "EBusiness Framework for SMEs", and "Combined E-business model for Customs of India". Dr. Sundar has his research published in international journals & presented in international conferences.
