Dr. Arvind Singh

After graduating in medicine, from Christian Medical College Vellore, Dr. Arvind Singh came to the UK to train as a vitreoretinal surgeon. He has done fellowships in retinal surgery from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, USA and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.

As a Consultant in the UK for the past 16 years he has undertaken all possible complex vitreoretinal surgical procedures. He served for 8 years on the Medicine and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in Device Safety.

For the past 6 years he has advised the Tata Group of companies on Global Healthcare Matters and Innovative use of Technology in Medicine. He has done charitable work in the third world and enjoys piloting aeroplanes as a hobby. Dr. Arvind Singh brings his considerable practical experience in Medicine into guiding HANDSREL to develop advanced service delivery solutions in Public Health through the innovative use of technology.
