The OpenXdata Consortium is a collaborative effort of researchers and software developers which was initiated by the Centre for International Health, University of Bergen, Norway. This collaboration has resulted in the development of an open-source enterprise software solution for handling virtually any type of forms-based data collection and management using mobile devices and web forms. The OpenXdata software is developed and supported through a global network of organizations and institutions. The OpenXdata Consortium also collaborates with other groups in the open-source developer community to enable inter-working of the OpenXdata Platform with other projects, where applicable.
HANDSREL is a founding member of the OpenXdata Consortium and a key contributor to the software platform, with primary responsibility for developing the Analytics and GIS components in the OpenXdata platform.
